I have read so many articles about how awful working for amazon is ..especially women..

The only thing I buy from Amazon is Kindle e-books which human hands don't touch, only programmers and they get paid and treated decently.

I live in Seattle, where Amazon employees are 10% of the work force. Their white-collar workers are well-paid, but treated poorly. This is endemic in the Seattle computing employment market; Microsoft is also a harsh employer.

Jackiesue, I've only seen the one article, but it doesn't surprise me. :-(
