• Resurgent antisemitism.
• A war in which Islamic extremists are the victims.
• Xenophobia as a global cultural norm.
• The abandoning of freedom and democracy by most of the world’s governments. The peoples of the world want freedom. The governments of the world seem mostly indifferent.
• Willful ignorance of crimes against humanity. Monstrosities without extensive media attention barely exist in the world consciousness. Genocide in Sudan, slavery in Xinjiang, these things are not getting the attention they deserve, and they aren’t because the cameras aren’t there.
