Harm to the Law

(To someone defending the Chicago PD on Twitter, lightly edited.)

When you or I break the law, we do harm, but we do no harm to the law. When the police break the law, they do harm to the law. When prosecutors and judges accept this, and when elected officials do not act, they do harm to the law.

  2. Caught up on your July posts. You make a great deal of sense on all counts. Splitting the Democratic Party was easy to do and the Russians accomplished it simply by bring ing to the surface the underhandedness of the Saunders-Clinton fight. Clinton would have made as good a president as Obama with possibly a better foreign policy but neither were progressive in any sense. If the Dems do not go solid Saunders/Warren policy platform 100% they are doomed, I think. They may be anyway. I do not hold much hope for the Blue Wave nor Trump losing in 2020. You have seen the last free and fair election in America. Not sure when it was either.
